Rahim Khan – our new hospital!
LRBT RYK hospital and residences structure is now complete with finishing work being carried out at different stages. It’s ground
breaking took place on 25th June 2022 and is scheduled for completion in June 2024. However, despite many administrative hurdles
such as unavailability of utilities and clearances from District Authorities, the project is progressing satisfactorily with 65% overall completion at this time. At the present pace of work, we hope to complete the project by the end of the first quarter next year. Most of the brick masonry and plaster work is nearing completion in the basement, ground floor and the first floor. In four residences, tile, electrical and
plumbing work is underway while in the remaining two, brick masonry is being carried out.
This project is being funded by a UAE-based donor and covers land, construction and equipment of this hospital. This donor has in the
past funded major renovation and expansion at our Khanewal and Gambat hospitals. This was followed by construction of a new OPD
and surgical complex at Lar, and a new hospital building at Mandra which was completed last year. We are deeply indebted to the family
for their unwavering support in assisting underprivileged patients across Pakistan.
