We are pleased to announce that LRBT USA was presented with an acknowledgement award at HSY’s fashion show in Long Island. The fashion show was part of a weekend full of activities including APPNA New York’s annual banquet.
The award was given to recognize LRBT’s life-changing work to provide free and accessible eyecare to 80% of Pakistan’s population.
Officially appointed as LRBT’s Global Goodwill Ambassador earlier this year, HSY opened the stellar fashion show with his stunning collection.
LRBT USA’s Board of Trustees attended the event, Dr Noaman Sanni, Erik Flynn and Laila Waheed who received the award, alongside LRBT’s ambassador, HSY, a celebrated fashion icon.

LRBT was founded 38 years ago with a clear mission: No man, woman, or child should go blind just because they cannot access or afford the treatment. Since then, LRBT has established 19 eye hospitals and 60 clinics, offering free-of-cost quality eye care services to the underprivileged. The organization’s relentless efforts have positively impacted over 54 million patients, instilling hope in countless families across Pakistan.
