The soft opening of our new hospital, Rahim Yar Khan took place on April 22nd, 2024, following the extended Eid holidays. In 68 days of its opening we have treated 14,000 patients in OPD & performed 1,230 surgeries The hospital will serve the communities living in the districts of Rahim Yar Khan, Bhawalpur, Rajanpur, Ghotki, and Kashmore with a total population of 15 million.
Additional Block at Central Store
With major expansions across our existing hospitals and growth of our
footprint, there was an urgent requirement for adequate storage space at the
Central Store. This space serves as the hub for distributing equipment and
medical supplies to all our facilities. Launched on February 19th, 2024, the
project was completed well ahead of schedule and handed over to the user
department by mid-June.
Construction of School of Paramedicine at Korangi
Following an affiliation agreement with Sohail University, we launched a
four-year BS (Optometry) degree program this academic year. Due to limited
space and ongoing certification courses, there was an urgent need for a
dedicated floor exclusively for the School. Mrs. Spenta Kandawala, LRBT
Trustee, generously offered to fund the construction of a new floor in memory
of her late brother, Mr. Farrokh Captain, a dedicated LRBT Trustee for over 30
years. Work on the project began on May 10th, 2024, and is scheduled for
completion by May 9th, 2025.
